It's been a minute...
Well, greetings to you all. A lot has been going on since I last wrote something on my blog page. First I would like to say thanks to everyone who has called in to the Asa Aaron Internet show. We have been talking about a lot of things that has kept me focused. It's important to stay connected with anything that motivate and stimulate the mind, soul and body. So I will continue to do creative things to help me maintain in my Nu life style .
Now, I have been attending the Word Church Akron for the last month and let me start by saying that I enjoyed Pastor Vernon and the whole vibe. However I also have been attending bible study with Pastor Hoye at Greater Works Church on Tuesday nights. I have never felt more connected with a church in my life. I really like the direction that this church is headed. So I am happy to say that on February 3, 2013 at 11am the official first Sunday service begins. I can't wait to check it out. For directions email me at info@asa-aaron.com

Romantic Night Out?
Why is it that every time I go out on Friday night the place is packed. This is my first Friday night off in 15 months. We finally got a chance to spend a romantic night out. It's funny that we spent the first hour in the lobby. My wife picked this place and wow, red lobster is filled to capacity. I actual had to park at a nearby doctors office. I think they might run out of crab legs. We should of went to Five Guys.
The Good Day Potion By Queenboogie
A good day for me starts with the sun shining, warm weather with a slight breeze. It would include a day where nothing is on the calendar, I am able to move about without repeatedly looking at the clock. My good days always consist of having about an hour where no one is calling my name and I am able to lose myself in worship and song. After getting dressed lunch or an early dinner at my favorite restaurant and an afternoon of shopping always makes for a good day. The day would be complete as I leisurely return home and everyone is relaxed and I can cuddle with my husband and drift off to sleep.

Grimey Thangs
I was chilling on a break at work when a co worker and I began discussing our wives. This guy is one of the worldly angle type brothers. I mean he is always on his grind as it relates to his christian walk. This kid was telling me how as men we need to always keep in mind not to make our Queens look bad. WOOOOW!!!
How many times did I failed at the art of keeping my lady in good graces. I mean sometimes I want to expose her for all the GRIMEY things she does on the low. I mean Lovely things she does on the low?

Lets have a drink?
Last week on our Internet radio show we talked about rather Christians should drink alcohol. Well let me start by going on record. I still have a frosty beverage every now and then. Pastor Chris Hale said that it depends on what you are trying to advertise. He said that he never drank alcohol but the bible doesn't speak against it. To be honest there are several verses that actually speaks in support of drinking. We had a couple callers talking about it during the show and we all agreed that Christians might be able to drink but not to the tune of being drunk. The bible says that drunks are the same as murders, adulteress and thieves, none of which will enter the kingdom .

NAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!!
Happy New Year! I would like to say that 2012 is finally over and we are looking for 2013 to be an even better year. As I mentioned in previous blog entries I visited several churches with the intent to find the perfect church home to worship at. I went to some good ones and some that I just wasn't feeling. I went to the Mountain of the Lord (2 times), First Assembly's Sunday School, United Baptist, The Word Church (2 times) Pastor Hoye's Bible Study group and the transition of my old church New Beginnings to The Burning Bush.
To recap I was visiting these churches because my Pastor Chris Hale was relocating to Arizona and I thought that it would be a good time to find a new church that my family and I can start the new year at. After some hardcore negotiations my wife decided to stay with the remaining congregation and attend the Burning Bush. So my son and I started the search. Please refer to my first post and check out my reasons in full detail.
My wife told me that I can decide what we were going to do in order to bring in the new year. Sooooooooooo!!!! of course we ended up at the Word Church. I have never attended a New Years Eve event such as this. I mean they had rapping, singing, dance teams, solos, videos and the man himself Pastor Ra Vernon. He gave a great message about taking it to the next level in 2013. I truly enjoyed myself. It was better than any party I have ever been to on New Years Eve.
After going to all those churches and talking in to several people who I love and respect, I decided that I would attend The Word Church. I totally love the whole vibe of the church. However I did like the Mountain of the Lord and Pastor Norris.
I really was feeling Pastor Hoye's Bible Study Group and if he had a church I would attend his church. There is something about being part of the beginning of a new movement. Pastor Hoye is actually starting over and I feel that I can contribute to his church but he doesn't have a church. I will attend his Bible Study Group and hope that he starts a church. But in the mean time I will be at The Word Church....Word Em Up!!!
Stay FOcUseD....
